Studio, but in your browser tab.

Studio Cloud: sign in, say what you want, and your app appears.

It's the same Studio, hosted for you. Open it from any browser, describe your idea in plain words, and watch AI build it on the Pikku framework. Nothing to install.

same address, same sign-in

Find it at pikkustudio.app/cloud

It simply takes you into the hosted app and shares your sign-in cookies with the main site, so there is nothing separate to sign into.

The Pikku chameleon sits inside a sketched cloud labelled "your workspace". Dotted lines run down to a laptop, a phone and a borrowed laptop, all reaching the same place.your workspaceyour laptopphonea borrowedlaptop

how it works

The same four steps as Studio. Different place.

You describe an app, AI builds it on the Pikku framework, and you see it running. The only change is where the work happens: in a cloud workspace instead of on your laptop.

  1. Open it

Sign in from any browser. There is no installer, and your projects are waiting in your workspace.

  2. Say it

Type what you want like you'd tell a friend. "A sign-up sheet for the allotment. Members pick a plot."

  3. Watch it build

AI writes the app on the Pikku framework, in your cloud workspace, and shows it running as it goes.

  4. Share it

Click around in it, then hand the project to a teammate. Putting it online through Fabric comes later, if you want it.

work together

Everyone in the same room, even when you're not.

Share a project with your teammates. In a cloud workspace you can see who is working right now, watch where they're pointing, and join in.

A shared project window with three coloured cursors on it, and underneath a vertical list of who is here now: you, a teammate and another teammate, each with their own coloured chameleon.Allotment sign-uphere nowyoua teammateanother teammatejoin inlive presence: cloud workspaces only

not a trap

Start in the cloud, bring it home any time.

Link a project to the cloud to work from anywhere. Unlink it when you like, and everything is exported back to your own machine. The apps are normal TypeScript on the MIT-licensed Pikku core, so you own them either way.

From top to bottom: a cloud holding a blue chameleon, a dotted arrow pointing up labelled "link it to the cloud", a solid arrow pointing down carrying a parcel labelled "unlink and take everything home", and a laptop holding a green chameleon.cloud workspacelink it to the cloudunlink, and takeeverything homeyour own machine

Deploying is the next step, not the first

Putting an app online through Pikku Fabric is the natural move from here. It's optional, and nothing in Studio Cloud needs it.

Export is the promise

Unlink a project and everything comes back to your own machine, ready for the local Studio.

three ways to use Studio

Pick the one that fits today. Change your mind later.

Local is offline-first and free. Cloud is the on-ramp for people who don't want to install, for teams working together, and for working from a phone or a borrowed laptop. Dashed tags mark what we haven't settled yet.
